snapLog · Last updated: 12 August 2026
snapLog ("snapLog", "we", "us") is a personal life‑logging app that turns your voice and text notes into an organised timeline, insights, goals and reminders. snapLog is operated by an independent app developer (the data controller). This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have — wherever you live. Contact us anytime at connect@skysolutionsai.com.
| Category | What | Why (legal basis) |
|---|---|---|
| Account | Name and email from Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple. With Apple you may hide your email (a private relay address is used). | Create and secure your account (performance of our contract with you). |
| Your content | Voice recordings you make, their transcripts, typed notes, and the events, moods, goals, reminders and reflections generated from them. | Provide the core product (contract). |
| Usage | Activity used to compute streaks, insights and your Life Score. | Provide progress features (contract / legitimate interests). |
| Subscription | Your trial/subscription status (via RevenueCat and the app stores). We never receive your card details. | Manage access to paid features (contract). |
| Device (optional) | A push notification token, if you enable reminders. | Send reminders you ask for (consent). |
We do not collect your contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell or “share” your personal information (as those terms are used under California/US privacy laws).
To transcribe your recordings and structure your notes, the relevant audio and text is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) for processing and returned to us. Per OpenAI's API terms, this content is not used to train their models.
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that operate the app, acting on our instructions and bound by confidentiality:
The optional friends features share only the specific, aggregated stats you choose to make visible (e.g. a streak or Life Score) — never your recordings, transcripts or private events. We may also disclose data if required by law.
snapLog is available worldwide. Your data may be processed on servers, and by providers such as OpenAI, located in countries other than your own (including the United States). Where we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, or your consent.
You can delete everything at any time.
We keep your data until you delete it or your account is removed. You can also export all of your data from Settings at any time.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, export (port), restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent at any time. You can exercise most of these directly with the in‑app tools above, or by emailing us; we respond to verified requests within a reasonable period and free of charge.
Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections and your session token is stored in your device's secure keychain/keystore. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
snapLog is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum age required in your country (for example, 16 in parts of the EEA). We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy; material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
